Our mission at Americas Hauling for Hope is to end hunger and poverty in Washington County, Maryland. To date, we have helped 32 households realize their dream of getting out of poverty. and have a goal of helping 10 households a year become self-sufficient,

Americas Hauling for Hope was founded in 2017 and has been providing services to households in need ever since.

Americas Hauling for Hope operates in also provides self funding services. These services include: document and data shredding, clean outs, and retail recovery. Proceeds from services are used to offset our annual expenses and costs are tax deductible for those we provide service.

Americas Hauling for Hope operates in Washington County and soon in Allegany County Maryland. We provide free deliver to households unable to obtain the resources they need.

The FREE Healthy Hearts Ambassador Program is an evidence based Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring Program to empower adults with high blood pressure to take control of their blood pressure. The 4 month program is delivered virtually and over the phone to help participants learn knowledge and skills to manage their high blood pressure.

Participants receive a FREE blood pressure monitor and . . . . .

• Training on how to measure and track your blood pressure at home.
• Guidance & support from a trained lifestyle coach.
• Education on healthy food choices to help manage blood pressure.

To qualify participants must be at least 18 years old and:

• Have been diagnosed with high blood pressure
• Not have experienced a recent cardiac event
• Not have atrial fibrillation or other arrhythmias
• Not be at risk for lymphedema
